Bananas are a fantastic super-fruit which make you feel fuller for a longer period of time. They contain 3 types of sugar: fructose, saccharose, and glucose, but also have fiber, and this exact combination contributes to satiety. Numerous researches have shown that only two bananas per day are enough to keep you up for a 90-minute training.

If you are a banana lover, the following diet will suit you perfectly. The best thing is that you will not feel hunger. You can lose up to 5 kg in one week. But, before you start the diet you have to consult a doctor or a nutritionist.

  • Breakfast – eat only 1 banana. If you are still hungry 15 minutes after this, you can go ahead and eat one more. You should not consume anything more for breakfast, but if you think the banana won’t be enough for you, you can consume 2-3 tbsp. of boiled rice. Make sure to consume only ripe bananas.
  • Lunch and supper – get you dinner at 8 o’clock the latest, although it would be perfect to take your dinner at 6 PM. You are not limited with your choice when it comes to the ingredients for lunch and supper, and you can eat what you usually eat. Make sure the portions are smaller, and avoid desserts.

The Japanese women are known for their slim figure for they make sure they are not completely full after lunch.

Moreover, make sure to avoid carbohydrates, white bread, white rice, sugar, and white flour.

Only water

During the diet, the only liquid you are allowed for consumption is water. Make sure the water you consume is at a room temperature. Drink it slowly, in small sips, not all at once. During the day you can drink one cup of coffee, tea, or freshly squeezed juice. During special occasions, you can take one glass of beer, or wine.


Around 3 PM you can eat 2 parts of dark chocolate, or low calorie cake. You are no allowed to take chips, ice-cream, donuts, or similar foods. it would be much better to take one fruit as a sack, but if your desire for something sweet is great, do not frustrate yourself.

Get to bed early

Make sure that you go to sleep at midnight the latest.

Exercise if you want to

You don’t necessarily have to exercise, but if you do want that, go ahead. Make sure that you walk as much as you can.

Keep a diary

Keep a diary by noting how you’ve felt and what you have consumed throughout the day. You can find forums on the internet and exchange experiences with other people who have tried this diet.
