Crash diets could also be the reason you may have developed leptin resistance. Some people make the mistake of reducing their calorie intake drastically because they want to lose weight fast. But this often becomes a problem it makes leptin respond by telling the brain it needs more food. This Is why it is probably a good idea to avoid these crash diets because they mostly fail to deliver cause they take the wrong approach to weight loss.
